Unity

Lord, I long to answer Your prayer for unity so that the world will know
You are the Son of God and that You have come from the Father. Yet I
know that it must begin with me. Grant me the grace to walk in humility
by considering others better than myself. May I look after the interests
of others as carefully as I look after my own. Above all, may my attitude
be the same as Yours—that of a humble servant. I pray that my kingdom would go so that Your Kingdom may come.
Lord, cause me to be single-minded and sure of Your calling upon my
life. May unity of heart and mind prevail in my home, in my community
of friends and family, in my local church, and the Church around the
world. Break down the barriers that separate us, and bind Your people
together again in Your love.
